This family played no games when it came to one another and their business. I never expected Paris to not only be a wild one but trained very well in the business as well. She seemed to have the most heart. Everyone had a role and it looked as if that was how it went, you had to be down in order to be a true member of the family. I can see little Mariah being trained as soon as she hits her Tweens. Gotta admit the Italians game plan was clever, and would keep them from dirtying their hands too much. Too bad it was a bit sloppy. Overall, I enjoyed the story and look for more from the Duncan clan.

It was a good read, but very predictable so it wasn't all that enjoyable.

Carl Weber done did it again! Whew! I just finished and I'm so hyped up about the sequel that I can't even form a decent review. That ending! LMAO! Miss Paris was my favorite character. I'd love to see more of Miss Rio (lol) in the next one. Loved the characters and all that crazy drama that surrounded the Duncan family. Oooh I can't wait for the next one!

I started reading the book because I had watched the show on BET+ and enjoyed the show. When I did some reading up on the show, I found out that the executive producers wrote the books on which the series is based, which is always nice to find out. Giving this a chance, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the Author did not allow the series to stray away from what he wrote within the book series. I will be reading the rest of the books in the series because the Duncan family's chaos has kept me entertained and wanting to know more.

Didn't do The Grand Opening 1 any justice. If I had not read Grand Opening first I would not continue with this series. Paris was annoying. Note to self do not bother with To Paris With Love. The whole assassin thing ruined it for me. I did enjoy all the other characters enough to continue reading.
I like that the author is collaborating on this series.

All in the family

This book was really good. It was about a black family who had a lucrative business and all the family members were very involved in the business. The scenes were unexpected, which I loved. Kept me on my read. Just when I thought I knew what would happen, I got thrown for another loop. All of the Duncans were memorable. Paris was wild and unpredictable. She was a bad chick. Loved her. Will definitely continue reading the series. I do recommend this book. Entertaining.

Like with all of Carl Weber's books this one did not disappoint. The Duncan's were a family who owned a business with a side hustle. Each family member played an integral role in keeping the family business afloat. Secrets are released and lines are crossed but this family always has each others backs.
