A very strange comic that features a few horrific short stories that are not only creepy, but also fucking depressing. I can see the intent of the comic here, I think, and I don't like it. The attempt at creating some sort of larger world in the final pages of the last comic fell flat for me, too.

I'm glad I finally gave it a chance after having this on my radar after all these years, because I know I'm not going to continue and I can finally drop it off my interest list.

On a lot of top 10 lists, I thought I’d start with the first volume. It’s a dark fantasy horror, where each issue has a different focus, communicating different darker themes and plots in contemporary times. For me, it was just alright. I don’t really care about this kind of subject matter and aren’t really into horror, generally - I’m just not the market for this at all. It’s too gonzo and superficial enough that I just couldn’t connect with any aspect of it, but recognize why people would be into it.
