Rachel will always be an auto-buy author for me & I’m sure I’ll come back to update this review later but let’s just say I’ll be callin out Wolfe’s name at midnight for a looooong time!

Really loved this. Tana having to decide between what’s best for her coven and family and what’s best for her would be difficult. Truly my only complaint is that the name Wolfe is silly

I was immediately drawn into this world of magic and secrets. Tana is the daughter of the most prolific magical family on their island and her future is already mapped out for her, for the better of the community and their way of life. People on the mainland fear their magic and and alliance between Tana and the mayor’s son from the mainland will secure a union between the two.
Tana never expected to meet a mysterious boy on her island who begins to tell her of long since banned magic and the coven of old, making her question her entire life and long for what she cannot have. Soon, she must make a choice…
This book did such a great job of taking a familiar coming of age dilemma we have all come across and made it fresh and different. I adored Tana. I loved both the friendship she has with her best friend, Ivy and the beautiful relationship she cannot help from forming with Wolfe. With incredible writing and lush world building, this was a major hit for me!
