Best Frenemies is the story of Katy, a math teacher, and Mack, a music teacher, who work together at a private elementary school in New York. Although their classrooms are right next door to one another, Katy and Mack do not get along. So when Katy heads to Destin for Spring Break, she is shocked to find Mack at the condo she booked. An accidental double booking means these “frenemies” are forced to be vacation roommates. Will these two, with seemingly nothing in common, find a way to coexist?
This was such a fun and steamy book with all of my favorite tropes: enemies to lovers, vacation romance, forced proximity, one bed, and dual POVs. I did not want to stop listening to this audiobook and finished the entire thing in one day. CJ Bloom and Alexander Cendese were the perfect narrators, and I could not stop laughing out loud. This was my first Max Monroe book, and I will definitely be reading more!
Thank you to NetGalley and Max Monroe for the ALC in exchange for an honest review.
