I don’t get the hype :(, I’m so sorry but this is just not it.
This sequel for sure had more depth than the previous book but I feel like nothing really happens? We just jump rom a scene to another without really getting to know anyone.
I did like to read about the band performing together even though it was weird that we didn’t get told that the band was kinda famous before.
I have the third book in the series so I’ll read that but then I probably won’t continue the ”Given” books.

I actually think I preferred Satou's first relationship 😂 Kinda bummed it's not about them, honestly. I love that trope of the popular mischievous or stoic guy that is a total obsessed softie for one person, and that is exactly who Satou's first boyfriend was, and I really loved that couple. So.
Yeah. Still love Uenoyama, but yeah, loved the first guy more, I think.
