I absolutely, 100% adore this book. I saw someone using it on Tiktok to talk about gender inclusive songs for kids and I snatched it up from a used book site. (This was probably the key turning point in my recent Pete Seeger obsession, actually.) It's got a hundred songs for every occasion, a great backlog of songs that were old enough I might have never heard of otherwise, and my eternal heart. The only reason I am not rating this a glowing 5 is because there is no melody included. Hunting down each and every song on Youtube is a right pain and a half-- some were never even recorded on anything outside of vinyl, and I am not yet desperate enough to buy a folk album on a format I have no player for. Still, for such an amazing resource, I can't rave about it enough.
