I am once again begging you to _read_ a book via audiobook. Anything narrated by Ben Barnes, please and thank you :)

(The actual book is just a bunch of short stories about the lives of Grishaverse saints. You get exactly what the title says, you don't need a review to tell you if you'll like it)

I liked this one, and it's like the Language of Thorns.

There's really nothing negative to say. The cover is beautiful and the illustrations are absolutely stunning. I really appreciate when books from within a fictional world are made a reality and I'll buy as many of them as I can.

The saints are referred to many times in the trilogy and both duologies so it was really enjoyable to learn more about them. There are 29 saints included, each with their own short story. The stories are simple but are reminiscent of classic fables.

I didn't expect anything from this book tbh, but it was pretty and I like the grishaverse. I loved the illustrations and the world building is great! But it is dry and quite boring, with each story 2-3 pages only.
I was sad though. I hoped Alina's story would actually be her story, and not one about someone praying to her. I wanted to see how history would warp her story. Also I figured she'd be the saint of hope or light or something. But I did like the story of the Darkling, and it gave some backstory to his believers. But where's Zoya??
