it is AWESOME! quickly paced and interesting, it kept me turning the pages! only a bit too graphic, but awesome still :)

Never thought a phrase as innocuous “LAMB STEW” could make me burst into tears but that just shows you how powerful Collins’ pen is.
Her writing is brilliant. Everything felt intentional and I appreciated how well she captured Katniss’ emotions throughout the war. Sometimes very morbid, others beautiful and lyrical, and I loved reading every word.

The only critique I had was the love triangle but it’s such a small detail in the scope of the whole trilogy that I’ll just close my eyes and pretend it never happened 🫶🏼
