What an amazing book! I recommend it to anyone who is unsure of how to proceed with leaving their faith or anyone who already has and wants to not feel so alone in their journey. I felt inspired and empowered reading of women, like me, who were Christian and are no longer and living just fine without religion.

This collection is not trying to convince you to be an atheist. It is simply women telling their stories. Some are similar to others.  As it is often to happen while reading an essay collection, some of the essays resonated more with me than others. There were women represented from different religious upbringings and cultural backgrounds, but sometimes things did feel repetitious.
