Very short & sweet, but nothing remarkable. 3,5⭐️

Aside from the humor, the hotness, what I really enjoyed was the sucker punch to the heart this novella gave. Such an emotional impact. Love it!

A short, complete story about a writer with writers block and the guy who comes calling one day, with a tale about their grandfathers.
Enjoyed it.

I’m not entirely sure how to rate this one as it was so short.
I did enjoy it and enjoyed the historical aspect to the storyline but would have liked more and to see where it went from there.

Cute and light, but a smooth fast read. I enjoyed the match of a young brash enthusiastic guy to an older man determined to be grumpy in his solitude.

Cute and sweet short story! Winston and Alton's story was sad. Hopeful beginning for Joshua and Rad! :)

Loved the premise of this story. It started out funny with Josh thinking there was an Axe-Wielding Maniac at the door and then turned super sweet as Rad told the story of his grandfather and Josh's great-uncle. Great job as always by Marie!

Damn, this was really good. I will read Marie Sexton short stories. She knows how to do this.

The free download was half this story, half the 1st chapter of One Man's Trash, which I've read and mostly enjoyed. (The terrible part was supposed to be terrible, and it worked very well.)

Rushed

Felt short and rather unfinished. Characters barely fleshed out and reliant on stereotypes. Plot was uncomplicated, and predictable. Not recommended.
