I was lucky enough to find this audiobook at my local library. I actually devoured this book in just over a day because Kelly's writing is so open and honest. Kelly's discussion of her childhood traumas, her difficult relationship with her parents, and her attempts at personal growth is one of the most vulnerable memoirs I think I have ever read. The way that Kelly can own her mistakes and show grace to others is truly inspiring because she found a way to heal without becoming bitter or resentful.

Although I would not say that this is a memoir that exudes joy it does highlight the importance of healing and compassion. Very good book highly recommend.
