Things have really escalated and quickly. I have to wait for the next volumes to come in from the library. It will be a difficult wait and I hope it will be short. This is the end of part 1 of the 2 parts of the manga (according to the author) and halfway through all the volumes. I am excited to see what is coming up in the story.

Poor storytelling. Everything is rushed and I feeling like there is too much telling and not enough showing. Which is a ridiculous predicament for any manga to have given that it uses pictures. The dialogue and narrative should add to the artwork and so far it isn't.

I have no idea what was going on or who was who. I couldn't remember anything from volume 8. Oh well... I have volumes 10 and 11 here yet to read.

Since Kaname revived Rido, now Ridos goal is to “devour” Yukis’ blood to gain her newfound powers but she reminds her of Juri, her mom,so he says that hes changed his mind and hell love her instead in place of Juri. So they battle, Zero, Yuki, and Rido and Zero gets these like new plant powers? Well anyway he is like “you’re the enemy”to Yuki but then Yuki say s like “no, ill always be on your side” and I thought that was super cute and just so sweet. Zero I think kills Rido but crushing him in his vine like trap thing? But then he turns on Yuki saying how he needs to kill all the pure bloods and stuff and they end on a stand off. Then there’s an extra where she sits and I found that funny. It lightened the mood a bit. Also,I think tthat old guy from the senate that was being all weird to Kaname that one time is gonna die. Kaname killed all the senates, or well they killed their selves with his help, he used his power to make them do it.

Still this brother/sister incest is freaking me out. Also way too much is happening. I'm not good at discerning who is who so I'm getting confused a lot. I feel like different colors and voices would really help which is why I'm looking forward to watching the anime.

Or it might just be because my mouth is killing me from my wisdom teeth surgery and I can barely keep my eyes open...

I think it's the drama of fight scenes. There's too much going on for me to follow. I don't examine the pictures like I should

I dunno, this should have been a really exciting volume with how much action and everything there is but I found myself pretty disinterested for a lot of it. I'm waiting until the politics and all these fairly meaningless secondary and tertiary characters are dead pr done away with so we can focus more on the relationships of the main characters.

3 fairly easily defeated vampire kings out of 5 thorny vampire hunters
