I really enjoyed it, I loved the complexity of Lila and Lenú's characters. The way Nino's character acted as a bridge between them was very interesting as well. I especially liked the chapters of the summer they spent in Ischia, before it all fell apart.

disrespectfully, I need nino sarratore to drop dead !

ahhhhh the drama in this installment was crazy. Lila + Lenu make me insane, actually. They’re relationship is so complex. The girls are fighting, battling the shared restrictions of their environment in very different ways, and remain inseparable despite the animosity between them! 

your honor, they love each other, I know it! They’re just so, so bad at expressing it, and men 😐 keep getting in the way!!!

Books have rarely hit me as hard as those in the Naples series. It may be the first time I learned that it was okay for a female character to be unknowable. It's just really incredible.

I am gripped and thoroughly shaken by Elena Ferrante’s writing. The emotions that course through me on completing a book of hers feel violent and life altering.  I have no words.

This series of books draws you in like nothing else I have ever read and moves you in such an intense way. Some of the best books I have read in a really long time, I have a never ending love for the Neapolitan novels.
