Oh my heart!

On September 11, 2001, we were running late to start our day. Normally, we would watch the news as we got ready for school. This day, there wasn't any time for that. We hopped in our car and drove off to the very large community college in Rochester, N.Y.. As we pulled in, the traffic was a bit more heavy than it normally was for the second week to the start of the fall semester. That is when we noticed that people were leaving the school and not going to the school. This is not a normal traffic flow for a morning class. We rolled down our window and asked another student what was going on. This is how we learned about the attacks on the United States on 9/11. We drove home and spent the day staring at the news. I got ready for work in shock. At my restaurant job that night, we all stared at the horror on the TVs during that shift.
This book allows the reader to experience the first hand account of that terrible day from the survivors, family members and very importantly the heros of that day. I could not imagine how hard this book had to be to write. It was beautifully done and a very beautiful tribute to those who have experienced grief from these horrible attacks. I am glad to have had the opportunity to participate in this read. I highly recommend it. AND A HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL THOSE THAT SERVE (Fire, Police, Military, healthcare, etc.)
