If you are looking for a silly with monster romance this might be for you. I could not get past the goofy names for the hero and alien environment and creatures. As well, as the heroine being an absolute ass to the hero at the end.

Sort of fun and sort of cute. A sweet little story that made me smile

Can't lie, the tentacles a little weird and if it was written by anyone else, id probably be put off...but Ella Maven does it? Sign me up! This was a short story written for an anthology of sci-fi romances, so its super quick. Like I read it in 30 minutes quick!
The plot, awesome! The sex amazing! The characters, slightly basic but I think this was like 100 pages so you can't have it all. I really liked it, would recommend.

Good, but it felt a little rush. Could have been a bit longer.

This book wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t that good. It was just ok. The story felt simple and not particularly compelling. She was too accepting of everything. I dunno. It was fine.

This is a short book (novella more or less), but it gives some background on Sierra, Quist, and Trist. They do appear in The Alien's Charge. I'd read Rescued from the Depths first then Alien's charge later to continue their story.

It was cute and interesting… at first. Since I’ve read the other book in the universe I understand the world, so none of my issues with this book was the quick pace, what really got me what how Sierra changed in the epilogue and Quist just… didn’t do much. It was odd. I liked that they talked things out, but getting to that point was a rough ride.
