I love the Drixonian Warrior series, and this is a sweet short story set on Torin. We get to meet one of the Drixonians that has been experimented on.
It is very short so there is not much character development. I liked the first part of the story better than the latter part. I can't help but be skeptical of the two of them living alone on this island in a cave for the rest of their lives, especially after they have children. I would have given it more stars if there was a more realistic resolution for their happily ever after to me.
