"Verwirrung der Gefühle" von Stefan Zweig fasst verschiedene Erzählungen des Autors in einen Band. Aufgrund der großen Zeitspanne, über die die Erzählungen geschrieben wurden, kann eine schriftstellerische Entwicklung Stefan Zweigs beobachtet werden.
Leider lassen sich aber gerade bei Erzählungen mit weiblichen Hauptpersonen große Verständnismängel feststellen, welche wiederum auch anders ins Licht rücken, dass Zweig in seiner Autobiographie "Die Welt von Gestern" seine Ehefrau an keiner Stelle erwähnt.
