I like this book but not as much as the first one. I like the cover, the writing, the story, it's good.

Not my favorite of the series so far, I would say maybe a 3.7-ish, so I rounded to four.
This one is a lot of Graystripe and Fireheart making one bad decision after another. Just... Really bad decisions that they both know are bad choices. It was a little frustrating reading Fireheart being so mad at Graystripe for doing extremely similar things to break the code.
Outside of the continuous bad choices of the main character and his friend, the plot was very good. The tension was high where it needed to be, and the book takes ample opportunity to introduce us to new characters, since two more Clans get to be way more involved in this book since the last one, which I do like.
