Tidak ada yang paling ngenes kalau baca seorang hero yang tersingkir dari bukunya sendiri. Adam di sini tidak sepenuhnya lenyap sih, cuma mendapat sorotan super minimalis. Yah.. Hanya sekitar 20 persen buku. Cobaan yang di alami Adam si calon Warrior sudah kita ikuti dari buku-buku sebelumnya. Karena itu, tak salah dong kalau aku berharap akan ada semacam klimaks dari semua "kisah hidup dan romance" blasteran vampire muda ini.
Di luar dugaan, novel ini justru lebih banyak bercerita tentang kelanjutan hubungan Sid yang makin serius, aksi manipulatif Alice (entah kenapa jadi semacam musuh besar yang harus di perhatikan), munculnya nama calon villain baru, proses inisiasi para half breed dan juga munculnya seorang VC warrior baru keturunan Indian, Jax. Walau aku suka dengan kepribadian dan kekuatan telepati Adam, tapi perkembangan romancenya super duper flat dan errr..membosankan. Jadi aku agak bersyukur juga Angelina dan Adam cuma diceritakan bak figuran di buku ini.

The only reason this book didn't get a five is because Adam is my least favorite character (besides the 'villains', cause I mean there is no worse characters than Alice)

tbh i don't really like adam and Angela, just because we they already fell in love kinda off page, which makes this book not really romance heavy and also we get barely any Angela pov's where i just feel like i don't know her at all

I liked it since I wanted Adam to have his happy ending, but I felt like it was more of set up for the next book.

2.5 this was shorter than the other books and felt a bit condensed. It wasn't really centred around Adam, he was just one of the many characters involved and his romance was finalised during the book, but not really the centre of it.
Yep, again with the spelling and simple things that any good proofreader should pick up. You give someone a 'piece' of your mind, not a 'peace' and there was another word in this book that the wrong version was used. Please have someone proof these books better as it is really annoying!!
Saying that, looking forward to what's coming next and it's nice to see new characters coming in with the possibility of making the series longer!
