ho letto le recensioni ad 1 stella e concordo con tutte le lamentele: è veramente scritto male, l'impianto narrativo che vuol essere accattivante è invece fastidioso, i dialoghi sono improponibili, i personaggi secondari sono caricature (anzi caricature caricate!) mentre i protagonisti (Marcus, Harry e Nola) sono la piattezza assoluta, il vuoto cosmico e così pure il grande, folle, proibito amore che è praticamente soltanto nominato e mai pervenuto.
'na chiavica insomma!! a cui io però do 3 stelle xk c'è un gancio che ti porta a leggere 700 e passa pagine che proprio non piacciono e questo qualcosa vorrà dire :)
La storia è particolarmente intrigante e se scritta diversamente e da qualcun altro sarebbe grandiosa

Um dos melhores livros que li este ano! As últimas 150 páginas são plot twist atrás de plot twist. O livro está brilhante!!

I read this 620 page novel over three days and two of those days I was at work. This was so good I could hardly put it down!
To be fair, most of the characters were borderline UNBEARABLE, but this author has a way of writing that had me hooked from the start; I loved how layered the storyline was, I absolutely thought I’d picked the killer but I hadn’t even come close to guessing correctly - I thoroughly enjoyed this!
4 stars due to the annoying characters and also due to the sheer size of this novel lol

Hmm. En tiedä mitä sanoa tästä kirjasta.
Tämä oli tietyin tavoin järkyttävä, rankka ja jopa ällöttävä hetkittäin. Dickerin tapa kuvailla 15-vuotiaan ja 34-vuotiaan välistä suhdetta on yksityiskohtainen ja realistinen, joka paikoittain teki kirjan lukemisesta vaikeaa.
Vaikeaa kirjasta teki myös sen, miten sen edetessä ymmärtää, kuinka sairas tämä koko suhde tosiasiassa on. Vaikka tämä on dekkari, tuntui että paljon kirjan juonesta meni tähän rakkaussuhteeseen. 15-vuotiaan seksualisointi, ei pelkästään tässä rakkaussuhteessa vaan läpi kirjan, oli paikoittain jopa liikaa mielestäni. Tuntui kuin lukisin lempeämpää versiota Lolitasta (huom! en ole lukenut Lolitaa, joten ei täysin aukoton vertaus..).
Vangitsevuudestaan tätä kirjaa ei voi kuitenkaan olla kehumatta. En malttanut olla palaamatta kirjan ääreen, etenkin kun pääsin ensimmäisen kolmannesosan ohi! Juonenkäänteet yllättivät joka kerta ja tarina piti minut hyppysissään loppuun saakka.
En osaa sanoa lukisinko kirjaa uudestaan. En varmaan. Kannattaako sinun? En tiedä.

Een echte page-turner. Ik bleef maar lezen en lezen en lezen en lezen. Je wordt super-nieuwsgierig naar hoe dat raadsel nu in elkaar zit. Toen ik dat eenmaal wist . Hoe dan ook: ik vond het een heel lekker boek om te lezen en kijk uit naar zijn tweede boek.
Ergens tussen de 3 en de 4 sterren.

I was immediately hooked by this book. Things got a little weird at the end and all of a sudden there were a million twists that basically made you think everyone in the town could have killed Nola Kellergan. Still, it was a great book and the truth about Harry Quebert is not what you think (or maybe you do if you are good at figuring out mysteries).

Es un libro entretenido.
Adoro las historias de misterio y de crímenes sin resolver y es por eso que el libro me atrapó desde casi el inicio.
Por un lado tenemos a un escrito con el síndrome de hoja en blanco que busca inspiración y decide refugiarse en casa de su mejor amigo y mentor, Harry Quebert en Aurora. Tras descubrir pruebas comprometedoras sobre un caso no resuelto, Marcus Goldman cree haber encontrado una buena historia, la que puede sacar del atolladero a su amigo quien es acusado tras reabrirse el caso, de la muerte de una adolescente.
Hay varios misterios sin resolver a lo largo de los capítulos y verdades que parecen estar sobrevaloradas para los habitantes de Aurora pero, que sin duda, esclarecen muchísimo el caso.
Me ha gustado la dirección que ha tomado el autor y de forma peculiar, como los capítulos se van dando en retroceso y en cada inicio haya habido fragmentos de conversación con buenos consejos.
Como digo, el misterio está servido!
Son capítulos largos pero os prometo que la pluma del autor es tan atrayente que te encuentras rápidamente atrapado en la historia, la recomiendo un montón!
