One of the best books I’ve ever read. Reading this book cured some internal homophobia I didn’t know I was holding onto my entire life. Reading about Charlotte and Sutton and the chemistry they had brought joy to me. I’ve read this book three times in the last two months and plan on reading it to my wife soon

One of those books that makes me feel like the description of love in literature is so beautiful that reality cannot compare.

I first purchased this book in October, but didn’t get to it until December… and once I finished it I was so mad at myself for waiting. I adored this story! Sutton and Charlotte are great leads, and the story was engaging. The chemistry was undeniable and you were rooting for these two from the very beginning. I have gone a bit back and forth on whether or not I thought this book was too long, but ultimately have decided that the more I was able to get of these characters, the better. I also loved the political storyline within this book, which is a world I have yet to see explored in the sapphic books I have read. This really helped set this book apart from others I have read. There is a follow up book of short stories highlighting milestones for Sutton and Charlotte, and that is a must read if you enjoyed these two!
