Great mystery! Including international travel, politics, a strong female character... first time reading this author and I'll be back for more.

For a navy SEAL he’s terrible at killing people.
It’s a decent enough plot, ludicrous as you expect in these things, but the writing is unrefined, the jokes aren’t funny, the banter isn’t fun, and the character decisions are often bizarre. Also, there little mystery to the plot as he gives you the answers before the question so it loses tension often. And as I said, he’s kind of terrible at stopping bad guys.
But it’s still fun enough.

Mitch Rapp at the Winter Olympics.
Mitch Rapp is actually a really fun character, and one I enjoy - Scot Harvath... is interesting. There were some really good moments in this book, however, there are some strange and wasted moments. There are places where some action comes up and it reads more like a movie than a book - with the hero quickly dispatching the villains and then vanishing behind the bus.
It was an okay story, and while it stuck to the US it was fine - when he became an "international man of mystery and vengeance" it became a bit much and just felt like the story was dragging to its conclusion. Things started feeling more coincidence than earned.
I enjoyed it, but it wasn't one I would say anyone has to read.
