pretty balanced and am def going to be reading more Brianna Hale

I’ve read one of Briana’s books before and it was also Daddy Kink but I hated it. A lot. I decided to give this one a go because it reminded me - distantly - of a previous book I’d 5 stared a few years ago. I genuinely enjoyed the way Isabeau's mind was written - the muddled mess that just needed the discipline and high standards Laszaro held her to her whole life (basically).

Formidable, beautiful epic love story full of love and pain. Loved their passion to music, adored what he made for Isabeau to be the best. It was great how the story moved flawlessly from the present to the past without losing its rhythm how easy you feel in reading about their relationship and the development magnificent finished in one sitting loved

Laszlo was Isabeau's ward before he became her lover.

That's the book synopsis and if that is a trigger, this isn't the book for you. There is also a DD/lg component with darker BDSM elements added.

Laszlo saves Isabeau from the streets and gives her what her father can't. Not only does he give her a home but he cultivates her gift of music and brings out the beauty that she has in her fingers and in her heart. You learn about the characters through flash backs. He mentors her and brings out her best and just when it's time to let her go and fly, Isabeau decides that she wants something that he isn't prepared to give.

The characters are well developed, the story line is brilliant. The research that went into this book is thorough and great. I fell for the love story right away and couldn't put the book down. I began cheering for Laszlo and Isabeau early in the book and watched him care for his young protégé. You see the hints of dominance early; guiding her dating / non dating decisions, choices of good food, changing her schedule and offering structure. Isabeau has been raised on this dominance and immediately craves the structure when it's gone.

Brianna Hale takes great steps to separate any "official" age of consent issues. The blurred line between childhood and adulthood is razor thin but it is there. Again, all of that being said, this book is so goooood! I enjoyed it.

Oh my my my this book❤️

Wow is about all I can say about this book. This is the first book by a new arthur for me and damn if it wasn't deliciously divine. This is the first time in a long time where a story pulled me in and made me feel as if it's me that's in this story and damn if this book wasn't hot as hell. This story is about Isabeau a lil girl at the age of 8 with a heart for music a "natural" and the man Laszlo who is a maestro in a orchestra hears her playing and wants her to become his protégé. This story is sooo freaking good I couldn't put it down and it's definitely a page turner. I would definitely recommend reading this.

This is my opinion and my voluntary review
