What Really Happened in Peru ⭐⭐⭐⭐/5
The friendship of Magnus, Ragnor and Catarina is a lot of fun. I liked almost all of the adventures, but I feel like the first one was too slow.
It was really funny when EVERYONE begged Magnus to stop playing the charango. Or when Magnus danced with a girl and set them both on fire lmao, and the night after that, I mean, Magnus wanted to be a Cactus and flew on a carpet in the desert LMAO.
It was very sad to read about immortality, when Magnus fell in love with a mortal and died. When Imasu broke up with him. Or when he told us the story of his mother :((((
I really liked Kitty <3. At the end they didn't even tell us why he's banned, I wanted to know

Be still my beating heart for this book has awakened an entirely new love of Magnus within me. The last ending story hurt my heart a little but knowing what goes down in the books I’m not that hurt about it. Some stories I liked more than others but I did enjoy the chuckles I got out of this book.
If y’all want to write more from Magnus’ point of view I wouldn’t be opposed to that!

Some stories were exceptional, some were particularly boring, some I was looking forward to, some I dreaded

Yeah, this is the worst book in the Shadowhunters series. I used to kinda like Magnus before but now I hate him.

So a lot of this book of novellas was boring. I kinda started skimming hardcore during some parts, but Midnight Heir was my absolute everything, and Elyaas the Demon was a delight. I liked the parts with Alec, and the very last novella made me laugh a lot so
3.3 stars.
Side note: I had started to really lean towards Isabelle, but that last novella skyrocketed her up my list of favorite shadowhunter chronicles characters to number 6.
