Angel Unseen
An Unseen MC Novel
Authour: J Bree
@jbreeauthor

“I don’t want them touching what’s mine.”

“I sold my soul to a stripper. I’m not even angry about it anymore.”

“He said he wants me.
He said I belonged to him.
… I think maybe I want to own him too.:”

Why did it take me so long to read this book?  Because this is the last book of J Bree’s books that I haven’t read yet. I also didn’t want another one of her books to end.

Angel is just trying to make enough money to start over, pay for school, and buy a house for herself. She is used to being on her own and doesn’t need anyone's help or anyone to touch her. She applies for a job at The Boulevard as a stripper, which is run by the local MC the Unseen charter. This is where Tomi comes in he is one of the members of the Unseen MC and runs The Boulevard. Tomi is a Callaghan and there is a curse that happens to every member of the family. Either you are struck or cuntstuck and Tomi is not interested in either. That is until he lays his eyes on Angel. The chemistry between them is too hard to ignore and when they give in it is hard for them to stop. Once Tomi starts learning more about Angel he wants to be with her and help her any way he can because there is no way this amazing, kind woman is here to cuntstruck him.

I’m still swooning over Tomi and hoping Angel would be my friend. Also, get a glimpse of a few of our favorite characters for Hannaford that made this story even better. Plus the glimpse of the other connection that is happening with two other characters. The ending got me and I would love to see where the rest of the story will hopefully continue in the future.

Amazing!! I loved the cameos of lips and the devil but Tomi and Angel were perfection. I need more of Speck and this whole world.

oh man. so good.

That epilogue though!

I love the writing of J Bree. Can’t help it. It’s just amazing. Every story hooks you in and I am so excited to see what happens next in this universe.

4.25 stars - As addictive and thrilling as all of J Bree’s books! I really enjoyed this book and think it sets up a new aspect of the Mounts Bay world that we haven’t really ventured into yet. Angel is such a strong and amazing character, I love her, and god was what she achieved impressive. Her and Tomi are explosive and a bit messy to start but there is no denying their attraction, the insane chemistry and the fact they are each other’s endgame. Can’t wait to see them in other books settling into their domesticity and the comfort of a secure relationship.

All the other Unseen characters are fantastic and I’m definitely invested in their stories too; Rue, Speck and even Trink. And the parents too, omg Keely is just the sweetest mom. The dynamics and deep familial bonds are really beautiful, this is another amazing J Bree family unit.

I’m so anxiously desperate for the rest of the Mounts Bay and Unseen universe books. Like Rue & Posey, but also Colt! AND NATE OMG, every snippet we get of him is incredible and I can’t wait for the devil’s book. The Mounts Bay series is written so well that even years later I am still waiting and wishing for the further books. And seeing Lips, Ash, Harley & Blaise in this book was perfection. There are several little things mentioned that make me so excited to see what happens in the years between Lips finishing school and this book (set after the tour). I just love this universe and need more.

However, reading this again slightly older, I think Tomi could have apologised more for the things he said to Angel early on and how he treated her, all because of his skewed view and the history of the curse clouding his judgment but Angel literally did nothing wrong and knew nothing about it. He does a lot of actions that show his change and that he is regretful but I don’t think he actually said sorry? His POV shows his thoughts but I would have liked them vocalised to Angel.

Also I can understand that some things aren’t unresolved as they’ll run into the next books but Tomi spent so much of this book searching for rats and basically nothing happens to further that plot line? Like we learn nothing? And then the book ends on a cliffhanger.

I love J Bree’s worlds and I really liked this book even if there a few little things.

This was awful. I'm sorry but this was so boring. So slow. So just unimaginative. The smut was terrible. Maybe I'm going crazy but I did not enjoy this at all. The best part of this for me what when the Devil, the Wolf and company came for that millisecond. Would not recommend. I'm still going to come back for Poe's story tho

“I’m a fucking sap for this woman who’s wrapped in secrets, coated in broken armor and trip wires.”
