Eva's cat Luna has been missing for a couple of days and misses her terribly! One night she discovers the Moonlight Zoo, a fantastical zoo located in another world underneath her bed where lost animals are kept safe. A wolf helps guide Eva through the zoo to find Luna before dawn, when she would get trapped there.

I love the world that Maudie Powell-Tuck invents in this original and beautifully illustrated book. Many kids can relate to the feeling of looking for a lost pet, and this book goes a step further offering a safe place in which they can stay. The fact that Eva is depicted wearing hearing aides only increases the inclusivity of this book. Definitely recommend.

¡Hola, lectores!

I am absolutely IN LOVE with Karl James Mountford's illustrations, but the story was a bit forgettable. The book is an absolute piece of art, though. STUNNING.

I'm delighted to have found this book with a little girl with a hearing aid. It's so rare in pictures book, I'm so glad I got it, and the story is great so that's just a win win!

The Moonlight Zoo is the story of a little girl who lost her cat and she is miserable. Then she finds a zoo under her bed, filled with all the lost animals. She searches for her cat all night long.

It's a delightful story, touching, and it will be a great comfort for every kid who ever lost a pet. To know there's a place where they all are, away from the cold, fed and loved.
The illustrations are very colorful, with a lot of details, and the pages are cut so that it's a fun way to read. There's always a surprise in the next page.

Kids will love it.
Would recommend!
