Great overall tie up of the series. I think it was just a right amount of suspense and though the romance wasn't too intense, it was a solid "friends to lovers" with a decent amount of pining. I think the ending did move fast but not in a way that is completely uncalled for.
I'm sorry that the sheriff had to die bc his son clearly loved him but Tyler also needs serious help and idl why the sheriff thought like 10 murders were better than getting his son some help for an arson addiction but okay whatever cops are mostly bad so high-key not even surprised but the first 3 books did a great job to lead us to Rob being the bad guy bc you kinda just don't expect it if you accept the ML's perspective of him being a hot "nice" single father.

First off, I did not feel any chemistry between Chris and Daisy. Chris was very one-dimensional and
I think it's pretty gross that he's been interested in Daisy since she was underage.

At first, I was intrigued by Daisy and her fear of leaving home but eventually, this became she became so insufferable. The people around her enabling her for so long was infuriating. Daisy, despite the other characters' reassurance WAS attention-seeking and WAS completely insufferable.

The plot was so predictable I found myself so angry when the characters couldn't see what was right in front of their eyes.

If I had to hear about the single-cup coffee maker or the "training" room one more time, I was going to lose it.

My least favorite read from this author so far.
