Some great adaptations and inspirations from Poe’s poems!
I’m still not comfortable with white men writing about the experiences of Black people. And while Spirits of the Dead was a great revenge story on racists, I didn’t know what to think about the rapper / gang war in Izrafel.

I love Poe so I should have loved these adaptations. The artwork is beautiful, but most of the stories have a tenuous link to the original Poe poems and shorts, at best. You might be better served reading the old Warren magazines or EC Comics if you want to see it done better.
