Authors who end their books with the main characters getting together but give us no time to actually see them being cute and together are a SCOURGE ON THIS EARTH

“Letters to the Lost” is a moving and relatable story that captures the essence of grief, healing, and self-discovery. The characters, especially Declan, are  well-developed and their journeys are both heart-wrenching and inspiring. Declan’s path to understanding himself and overcoming his inner turmoil is compelling, making this book a great read.

Ahh. A contemporary romance without a love triangle, petty drama, and with fleshed out side characters? This book in a unicorn in a library.

I loved everything about this. It covers deep topics like death and acceptance through grieving. The characters are believable and loveable. I spent most of the book falling in love with the best friend, Rev and wishing he was the male lead instead. I know the second book is about him, and it actually makes me scared to read it, because I love him that much, I can't bare to be disappointed, I so hope it's just as good as this one.

There were so many amazing quotes from this as well. It really makes you think and consider your own views on death and grieving. I was really really impressed.

Rating: 3.75 out of 5, but rounding up to 4 stars!

I'm officially declaring Brigid Kemmerer as being my favorite author when it comes to YA contemporary/realistic genre.

This was my second book that I read by this author and I enjoyed this just as much!

It had been a hot minute since I enjoyed a ya contemporary. The author's way of storytelling is fantastic, the way she describes the situation that is happening with the main characters feels too real, hits you right in the feelings and as if you're experiencing the same thing along with them.

Brigid's writes her novels in a way that as much as you're rooting for the main love interests to confess their feelings and be together you also want to see more moments with their parents/families.

I really want the author to write more contemporary novels like these!!!
