A story both endearing and cliché , which is strangely compelling in its quirky portrayal of romance; a definite guilty pleasure!

More like 3 1/2 stars. Overall, a good read. I think the book would have been stronger if the heroine hadn't had a fiance to add into an already crowded narrative. Especially since I never knew why she kept insisting she loved the fiance, as far as I could tell there was no reason that she should...it was weird. I think it was a lack of character development on the author's part. Other than that though, excellent chick lit entry.

This was funny and kitschy, set in London and Paris, nothing to take serious...really? It reminded me of the 90s and 00s when I used to go to the cinema a lot. Perfect read for grey November nights.

This is an easy read and light romance that will bring great beach, cruise, lazy Saturday pleasure as you watch Scarlett prepare for her wedding, experience movies and deal with her own share of strife. It is of particular enjoyment if you enjoy a good Hugh Grant Rom-Com and all of the movie references.

Ho amato tutti i riferimenti cinematografici.
Il finale l’ho trovato perfetto, dolce e commovente al punto giusto.
È un libro che consiglio tantissimo ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

When I started reading this book I thought parts of it were just too much fantasy to me. Things kept falling in to place like it was a movie. I understand that it was the point, but it was over-the-top for me.

Any part that had Sean in it was significantly better. The Stars Wars and Disney wedding were both over-the-top too, although I found the Disneyland Paris stuff to be cute. I also found the fact that she was 23 to be unrealistic. If she was about 28 or so it would have made more sense to me, maybe that's just me.

I also believe the story was uneven.

While I enjoy sappy romantic comedies as much as the next person, I found this to be just unrealistic, even more so than I believe it was supposed to be.
