This manga is typical Shonen: the power of friendship trope, fan-service, yelling, and ambitious goals. But there’s something about this story that makes me forget that. Maybe it’s the world; maybe it's the magic system; maybe it’s the characters that constantly make me laugh; who knows? All I know is that this a series I deeply enjoy and one I consider one of my favorites.

The ending of the Eye of the Midnight Sun arc was good (the first few chapters in the volume). The Seabed Temple arc starts and honestly, it is one of the weak ones in my opinion. It is good that the author tries to power-up side characters as well but sometimes it feels very forced (it gets better in the future). After the previous volume, I found this one weaker but we'll see what happens in this arc.
