December 2016 Review:

This was an incredible read. I love the Sullivans series. The writing and the characters are so amazing and I just love reading this series every year. I loved Jack and Mary's story. The parents of the San Francisco Sullivans finally got there story. It was a love at first sight story.

Jack is an engineer and inventor. He is just as sexy and as appealing as all of his sons. Mary is a model who is about to retire from the spotlight and live life as a normal individual. She is Italian and very feisty just like her daughters. They have amazing chemistry. This book proves that the special person in your life may be closer than expected. Now the San Francisco Sullivans sub-series is over, now onto the Seattle Sullivans sub-series. I can't wait to read Book 9.5 - One Perfect Night. Overall, an amazing read.

December 2015 Review:

I got to learn more about Jack! It was sweet to find out more about how Mary and Jack fell in love, got married and had 8 children. It is sad that Jack died and was not in the first eight books.

The romance between these two is perfect. Loved this book! I wish there was more to the book though. It was the shortest book, but it was perfect! Overall, an amazing read.

It was very sweet, even though it is completely unlikely to happen. The thing that really got on my nerves that Jack seemed to be great at everything. He is a tech genius who claims he thinks too fast to behave normal, but at the same time he lacks the social akwardness that often accompanies extreme intelligence. He doubles up as model and picks up languages effortlessly. Also he's fit enough for a stunning physique and more over good at racing cars. Not to mention he also seems to know architecture very well is able to build a cabin on his own. He also mysteriously good with plants as he thinks of opening a winery...which seems quite odd for someone who spent the last 10 years in a garage tbh.

From the first Sullivan story I knew that their parents had to have had a special love and relationship. I'm overjoyed that Bella decided to share their love which surpasses the tests of time. She had me crying in the prologue. It was bittersweet because you know how their life together unfolds after they are married and have children, but the story wraps you up and makes you forget, for just a while. Thank you for another amazing love story. I'm looking forward to meeting more of the Sullivan clan.

Jack and Mary's love story is the perfect way to end the San Francisco Sullivans series. The Sullivan family history started with Jack and Mary kissing under the mistletoe. This book offered a glimpse on where their 8 children got not only their devastatingly good looks but their passion for love and life as well. I only wish Jack was still with his family celebrating the holidays and each of his children's milestones. As a daughter who lost her father, I can relate to Jack's children whenever they thought about their father and how everything changed when he was gone.
This is also an introduction to Jack's brothers, to their growing clan, and to more stories about The Sullivans.
