Nothing really happens, long introductions of things... kinda seems like they're starting in the wrong places if this is how they want to draw people into it. If you've watched Con Man and you'll like what they do anyway, this isn't really needed because you'll keep reading anyway. If you just picked this up out of no where and it COULD be the thing that draws you into everything else, then it would be a poor introduction.

They should have started with a fun reason of why we'll love the characters, and left this as the start of a full comic a bit later on.

Picked this up because I supported and watched all of Con Man. I assume this issue #0 is a lead up to a full-fledged series that tells the story of what happened on the show within the web series?

It's a little interesting, especially the first page blurb about human-alien interactions before the story. I'm a little curious what those monoliths are or how the Spectrum crew meet up. But it feels a little too heavy for me to actually start reading. Doubt I'll go any further than this #FCBD issue.
