"She didn’t care to be a sunflower, unfurling her petals in the daylight for all to see. She would rather be an adorable little mushroom, thriving in the dark crevices where few ventured to look."

The story was great, the writing amazing and that ending! I honestly can’t wait for the third book!

We met Death in Belladonna and now we get to meet his brother Fate. Plus Blythe is healthy and turning out to be my favorite character. She was “chefs kiss” at the end facing off with Fate. I predicted early on that she would be Life, but when Signa healed Eliza I thought that destroyed my theory. Then at the end I was very meticulously paying attention to Signas deal with Fate and immediately realized there was openings. When Blythe showed up the next morning I was screaming for her to add her blood to the tapestry, so when she finally did I was a giddy little girl SOOOO HAPPY that Signa and Death could not just be together but TOUCH EACH OTHER!!! Gahhhh!! And the way Blythe handled Fate and spoke to him at the end solidified my love for her. She is the main character. I’m in love with this series but now I have to wait a year for Wisteria and that makes me sad.

I like the premise of the series. I don’t know if I love the new viewpoint but I understand why it’s important. Can’t wait for the next book!
