Ryder and Delaney continue to be perfect idiots.
Spoiler
~God powers get stolen and a vampire turns up dead, Delaney has a lot to deal with.
~Love the Reed Sisters' family dynamic, it's nice to have a story where the sisters get along.
~Ryder made the supremely terrible choice to be the Warden of the town. I expected this to have more of an effect on his and Delaney's relationship, but so far not much of one.
~Ending was very high energy and I'm ready to jump into book 3.

Shallow but interesting stories, and atmosphere of coastal oregon is well captured.

I kept on putting this down. I liked parts of it. But as a whole it really didn't work. And I almost liked some of the characters. And Piper had some potential. But in the end I didn't care all that much. Certainly not about Ryder. Or Crow. And it didn't come to any real ending. Not sure it's worth trying a sequel. And yet it wasn't actually bad.

This series is a quite ridiculous and over-the-top, but I'm still enjoying it as fun fluff. The author doesn't seem to take herself too seriously, and if this were a TV show, it would be a silly supernatural/physical humor/dad joke mash-up.
