The Christmas Table is a beautiful Christmas story. Two families from 1972 and 2012 were brought together in this heartwarming holiday book. It is definitely my favorite 2020 Christmas read.

I wasn’t sure how this audiobook was going to go with the author being the narrator but she did a good job. I found myself laughing here and there. It’s a sweet story. Wonderful to listen to around Christmas time. I love that the author shares the character’s growing relationship with Jesus. Seeing the miracles performed by God and tying all the characters together in the end was greatly written.

This is that feel good, cozy, make you want to go back to the simpler times in life kind of book. I adored this story!
Full of hope, love, kindness and the spirit of Christmas.
Bonus, recipes included! I mean really, how great is that? I will most definitely be trying the recipe for the peanut butter fudge, I have my own recipe but when I was reading I could just smell this cooking on the stove and my mouth started watering.

If you’re looking for a quick holiday read to put you in the mood for a Christmas, there is no need to look any further. This is the perfect book for all!

This was such a sweet book. This is a quick and heartwarming story that is set across dual timelines. It features a special table that brings people together at Christmas time. In 1972 John decides to make a special table for his wife Joan and his kids. In 2012, Travis and Lauren, a newlywed couple buy the table in hopes of refurbishing it. They find a secret drawer under the table filled with handwritten recipe cards.

This was such a heartwarming and faith filled book. I loved the dual timelines and how the story intertwined. This book would make an amazing Christmas movie! This is a short book and can be finished in a day or two. It is a Christian story with a powerful message of the power of healing. I loved this book, and would highly recommend it!

Thank you Netgalley for this eARC in exchange for an honest review.
