so much for grandad of horror. was mostly bored
racism also wasnt great fun to read. i wasn’t expecting it to be so obvious in a short story but nope he really wanted it known, i guess

This honestly was not for me. There were a few standouts. The Call of Cthulhu , Herbert West - Reanimator and The Lurking Fear stood out to me as the best stories in this collection but I think here we find a case where the Mythos of Lovecraft might actually be better and more interesting than the stories themselves.

This is, without doubt, the creepiest thing I've ever read, and I love it.

Imposible leerlo rápido, ni aunque este muy interesante, no vas a querer escapar de la atmósfera. Mas que recopilación es un curso a Lovecraft, un tocho que esperas que nunca acabe.

My dad tells me we're related, so now I need to read something by HPL. He suggested "The Shadow Over Innsmouth," one of the novellas in this collection.
