I loved loved loved this one, until the epilogue… it was still good, but I wish I’d skipped the epilogue.

The reading questions at the end could really provoke some deep thoughts!!

Neumím posoudit kvalitu příběhu v rámci žánru, ale pokud vás nechávají chladnými popisy toužebných pohledů, hryzání rtů, vzdechů a těl, tohle prostě nebude ončo.

This book really played with my emotions for many reasons. For one, we got a dead parent and the grief that comes with that and then the heartbreak of what Will did to Fern and then what he does to her again! I couldn’t believe he abandoned her and then broke her heart like that again. And though part of me wanted him to come groveling to her begging forgiveness, there was something great about her fighting for what she wants and also helping him realize he’s allowed to want things for himself too and that she really did love him and accepted his life and family. I did not see the twist of him having shown up on their meeting day but deciding not to say hello. That hurt worse than him not going at all. I will say I think I was expecting a little bit more from their first day together. The present made it sound like they did more or spent a little more time together than they really did.
