It's been a long time since I've read, and jumping in with this book was certainly a daunting task, but a worthwhile one nonetheless.
It's a little over 300 pages of pure emotion and heartbreak. Reality and humor.

What a heavy read. Humor and abuse all at the same time. Plus add in an eating disorder. This book was a lot to handle and I truly don’t have many words for it. It was a good read though. 4.5 stars

this is an insanely challenging book to get through. it’s well-written and has such a distinctive voice, so even though it’s heavy, there’s still a touch of comedy that wraps it all together into something truly unique.

Seriously, even if you don't usually read non-fiction, this is the shit.
Absolutely, stunning and heartbreaking and yes, funny. Because Trauma Can Be Funny.
Don't get me wrong, it's sad and depressing and the definition of tragic, but it's also so beautiful and hopeful.
Seriously just read it.
