Interesting concept, but the execution left a lot to be desired.

I really enjoyed the concept of the book however I found it to be predictable and the characters weren’t particularly interesting to me.

Then and now chapters keep the book at a good pace, and the characters are certainly interesting, even if not particularly likable!

I enjoyed reading this very much. But then I thought the climax was a tiny bit lame. But then the ending made up for it somewhat, and, as I said, I did enjoy reading it. So there you have it.

I pretty much liked the book, it was very entertaining and I always wanted to keep reading and reading. I would recommend this book if you like psychological thrillers and a little of creepy madness!

Cover: very beautiful and endearing, beautiful colours and setting, it really gives the idea of the content of the book.

Structure of the book: divided in chapters. We have 2 main narrators, who are the 2 protagonists, so the story is developed quite clearly.

Plot and Storyline development: very interesting for the whole book and quite satisfying.

Suspance: very strong towards the end of the book in which we find out what really happened. (I really liked the suspance, I was really nervous in that part of the story and I couldn't wait to read what was the truth about the murder!)

Murderer: It was not obvious at all and it surprised/shocked me! (5/5 stars on that!)

Negative aspects: I didn't really understand HOW the story ended. I mean, what's Jane's future? what does she do? what are her choices?
