a really good follow-on and counterpart to 'Death of England', both thematically as well as in the timeline of the two plays. I do think it could go further in what it explores as a lot of it is explored in 'Death of England', however on the other hand it is this that allows it to be understandable and enjoyable as a stand-alone piece of work and be centred around the character as well as the politics.

heel heel boeiend. de monoloog was erg pakkend, omdat het personage tegelijkertijd de spot met zichzelf dreef en zichzelf probeerde te verdedigen. ik vond de beschrijvingen van zijn relatie met de witte familie fletcher erg interessant, omdat ik me continu afvroeg waarom hij met die mensen om wil gaan. uiteindelijk is die vraag niet echt beantwoord maar doordat hij zo vastberaden is om zijn relatie voort te zetten ben je als lezer toch best overtuigd.
