I didn’t feel much of a connection between Hannah and Ian and the story wasn’t overly interesting. I did like them as individual characters though and think they may have been better in their own book than novella.

A very cute, steamy little novella. The FMC was a teeny bit ‘not like other girls’ for me but I did enjoy the MMC being described as a beefier version of Prince Harry

Okay - this one overall was slightly better than Stuck With You. The protagonist actually described herself as tall at one point, which is a first for Hazelwood. However, there were still a lot of the same tropes present as her other novels.
The main reason that this one was slightly better than the last novella was that the stakes here were a little higher (life or death). However, the fact that our love interest couldn't stop comparing parts of the main character's body to topography on Mars was a bit much for me. I know Ali Hazelwood's thing is that all of her books are about scientists but this was a little much.
Again, this is a cute romance and good if you're looking for something quick to read.

Fast and fun romance novella. The structure seemed a little uneven, since the second chapter was about half the length of the whole story, but that's forgivable for a novella.

Started off strong, but kind of petered out into nothing. Writing felt hasty. Cute story overall, liked the MC, but some of the scenes were extremely cringy.

I have never had a reading experience where I have physically repulsed in cringe, displeasure and incredulity as much as I did with this book. This reads like fanfiction, and not even well-written fanfiction.
Clunky sentences, an embarrassing main character, an unbelievable storyline, and a dynamic laced with obsessive macrophilia - truly, what could be better?
The fact she says she’s not like other PhDs because she only started caring about science after she got hit on by an incel is genuinely amazing to me. There is a reason this was a free ebook. I did giggle, but at what cost?
