I didn’t feel much of a connection between Hannah and Ian and the story wasn’t overly interesting. I did like them as individual characters though and think they may have been better in their own book than novella.

I learned a few things about Mars while Hannah and Ian got to know each other better.

Honestly this probably lost half a star for the end of the last chapter. It just made the whole novella feel a little like a caracture.

Again with these novellas I think I would have enjoyed this more as a full novel - there was a lot of backstory for a book this length so the actual story felt very rushed.

The above is a shame really because I think Sadie and Ian might have been my favourites if they hadn't felt so underdeveloped. This really had great promise but honestly just fell a little flat.

If Ali Hazelwood wants to keep her popularity she needs to stop with the tiny white cis girls, falling for huge white cis males. To be fair Sadie's tininess was less of a feature but I do just roll my eyes every time one of the females is described as tiny and the men as huge, it's just endless.

A very cute, steamy little novella. The FMC was a teeny bit ‘not like other girls’ for me but I did enjoy the MMC being described as a beefier version of Prince Harry

Okay - this one overall was slightly better than Stuck With You. The protagonist actually described herself as tall at one point, which is a first for Hazelwood. However, there were still a lot of the same tropes present as her other novels.

The main reason that this one was slightly better than the last novella was that the stakes here were a little higher (life or death). However, the fact that our love interest couldn't stop comparing parts of the main character's body to topography on Mars was a bit much for me. I know Ali Hazelwood's thing is that all of her books are about scientists but this was a little much.

Again, this is a cute romance and good if you're looking for something quick to read.
