I really liked this book as a whole, there were moments where I was a little bored with it but they passed very quickly.

I thoroughly enjoyed [b:Neverwhere|14497|Neverwhere|Neil Gaiman|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1348747943s/14497.jpg|16534] - this was my first foray into urban fantasy, and I'll say, the author understands and depicts it in this book so magnificently.
The book had heart, it was witty and engaging. I simply loved the idea of two Londons, Above and Below and the way he has described each and everything involved in the narration.
I am seriously berating myself for not having picked up more works by [a:Neil Gaiman|1221698|Neil Gaiman|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1234150163p2/1221698.jpg], hence I have set my eyes on American Gods next
I am sure this book will be an enjoyable read even to non fantasy lovers.

Sigh - it's always sad when a book like this ends after it's tossed you up and down and around. Will definitely never see the London Underground in the same light again. Now intrigued to see the BBC show of the same name / origin.
Enjoyed the audio version very much.
