Fast paced and incredibly gripping. The end made me so tense, I needed to consciously unclench my jaw every few minutes. I loved every second of it.

As far as domestic thrillers go this isn’t a bad one, however the ‘plot twists’ were predictable (excluding Millie’s help with Lucy’s situation).

I enjoyed the book but can’t say I’d rush to read more work by this author.

While I almost DNF’ed this a few times, there was something about it that made me want to continue reading. I feel like the ending was a bit rushed but I enjoyed the overall story.

I really liked this book. The ending was magnificent, Esther being the light at the end of the tunnel for Grace was wonderfully done. I also felt that the author did a great job at building the tension by going back and forth between past and present to end up at the main event. I enjoyed the fast pace of this book, and how realistic it was in terms of women in controlling relationships. Enjoyed this one quite a bit.
