BEST BOOK I HAVE EVER READ! I have been reading the shining for about 6 months and am only half way through it so decided to pick up something fast paced to get me out of my slump. It took me 4 hours to read this book and I did not put it down once. You think you know what is going to happen be trust me, you are 100% wrong. Oh what I would do yo read it all over again for the first time.

One of the best books I've ever read. Definitely gonna buy it, one of my favorites!! Like read it!!! I promise you will not regret it! I even have the last bit of dialogue from this book memorized because it's so good and I recommend it to everyone I know.

Great book, it literally made me sick to my stomach. I felt the main character emotions so vividly that I had to take a break. Please check trigger warnings because this book is very dark.

he gives his wife a puppy then lies to her about hiring a dogsitter, so while they are away in Thailand the puppy is abandoned and trapped in the house and starved to death, and the dog’s death and body is described. Her husband proposed to her only to gain access to her sister with Down’s Syndrome as he plans to confine and torture her.

This book was well written. The author is great at building tension and keeping it tight. It's certainly not for the faint, and I recommend checking the trigger warnings before starting. It's not graphic in the gory sense, but there are several very intense situations with abuse.
