this was some really great small love stories, and shows a little insight to how different people reacted under lockdown. but also kinda unrealistic, because like how many got a new partner under lockdown, I certainly didn’t..

This was such an interesting anthology of short stories to read through, as it was fully set in the world we live in, but back in 2020 through the early months of the pandemic/global shutdown. I felt transported back in time and began to reflect on my own time in my studio apartment and how it compared to the kids I read about in these pages. The theme of this anthology refers back to the titular notion of being "together" and finding connection and community while we are physically apart.
Like any anthology, there were a few stories that really pulled me in, and others that were just fine. However, overall, though shutdown was a very challenging time for our world, I felt most of these stories were hopeful and left me feeling grateful for the connections I formed during that deeply traumatic time.
Graphic: Panic attacks/disorders and Pandemic/Epidemic
Moderate: Chronic illness, Confinement, Homophobia, Mental illness, and Lesbophobia
Minor: Self harm

3.5 stars A super cute collection of stories I absolutely adored! Devoured this all today and it was a fluffy, quick read I absolutely needed.

3.5⭐ za mňa.
kniha nebola zlá, no už na začiatku každej poviedky ste vedeli s ktorou osobou hlavná postava skončí ale inak boli príbehy dosť fajn a v určitých častiach aj roztomilé

I thought maybe I was sufficiently recovered from pandemic time to read stories about it. I wasn't. (Also, I'm kinda just not feeling YA contemporary anymore, unless it has some kind of fantasy element.)

This was a really cute and uplifting collection! There's a lot of pandemic hope and optimism here, which was refreshing enough to quiet my inner cynic (okay, my outer one, too.) Bonus points for a diverse cast of characters and authors who contributed!

Povídková sbírka Spolu a každý zvlášť přišla v pravý čas. Přesně takové milé čtení jsem potřebovala.
