The 8 year old read this and asked for the second book (which doesn’t come out until September) but that’s a definite seal of approval from him. A lovely story about a kid who worries maybe more than other kids but finds support from her “feelings teacher” and new friends, and of course, her dog Cosmo.

Jag kände igen mig otroligt mycket i Penny - jag var nästan exakt som henne när jag var ca 11 år. Tycker också boken behandlade ångest, oro och uppbrott med vänner (och att man kan hitta nya på de mest oväntade sätten!) på ett väldigt fint sätt. Kanske skulle jag inte ha läst den här under en period när jag kände mig ganska stressad och ångestfylld och egentligen mest skulle ha behövt en distraktion, men jag tror att 11-åriga jag verkligen skulle ha uppskattat den.
