The style of this comic is absolutely amazing, I can't believe it's done with colour pencils!
That said, I really wish this was longer. I feel like the characters didn't really get a chance to breathe, and the end comes on very quickly.

This graphic novel was very fast paced, it does not feel like this story has ended and the romance came very quickly in my opinion. It was a very cute story with great representation though!

If you're looking for something quick, lighthearted, and fun, you've come to the right place.
Stage Dreams is the story of two women (outlaw Flor and Grace, fleeing the war) who team up to go on an adventure and execute a heist in the Wild West during the Civil War. This graphic novel is bighearted, diverse, and will make your heart a little lighter. The colored pencil illustrations are beautiful and the story is well-paced.

This is the gender diverse queer western comic of my dreeeeeeeams! This was filled with adventure, romantic tension, and sweetness! This is own voices for the queer rep and there’s no misgendering or deadnaming of the trans main character

I quite enjoyed the premise of this graphic novel, but felt as though it ended as soon as it got going. Artwork was lovely and gave it a real Western and old-timey feel.
The father actually being supportive/helping them escape at the end was not the twist I was expecting.
I liked all the Southern-isms that reminded me of home.

This was cute! It was a fun ride with some solid representation for queer folks sprinkled with some interesting American history. The setting of the Civil War period was an interesting one and gave the story a novel perspective, pun intended.
This was a fun read and I would definitely recommend it :)
