Asher "Finch" Finchly has finally achieved his dreams of becoming a Navy SEAL when he unexpectedly learns that he is a father due to a one night stand. Although he and Sarah Nolan have no romantic connection they are both committed to raising Lolly when he is not overseas.

When Sarah and Lolly end up missing one summer, Finch and his crew are desperate to locate them. When they are finally located they are with a woman named Breeze who says that they escaped from "The Family".

Can Finch keep them safe or will "The Family" stop at nothing to get them back?

This is another good and enjoyable read filled with romance and suspense.

I really liked Finch and I loved that he was good to Sarah even though they were not together. He loved Lolly so much and he was so broken when he discovered she was missing with Sarah.

There was so much mystery surrounding Breeze and "The Family". It was interesting that this group really wasn't on the radar of any agency and so they were clueless to figuring out where she came from. Breeze was so naive to everything around her which made Finch wonder where she had been. It really made me wonder if the group had moved before or how they changed locations with Breeze not aware of so much.

I had a feeling that Breeze's past was going to catch up to her but I was really curious about the fascination of Lolly and why they were after her. I really did not like Coal and was freaking out a little when he seemed quite evil.

Things definitely took a turn for the worst about half way and I was wondering what was going to happen and who would end up hurt from any altercation. I knew Finch would never give up and I did a happy dance for sure!

The end was so good with the news that Breeze received and I was super happy for Finch, Breeze and Lolly!!
